small town charm
So I'm sitting here in downtown Roanoke, the largest metropolitan area in the entire southwestern corner of the state of Virginia. I go in the breakroom to get some water and look out the window, and I can see a private, single-family residence. From the window. Of the breakroom. On the third floor of a building so smack-dab in the middle of downtown, the courthouse and city jail are across the street.
Love or leave it, this is a small, small city. What was I doing here again?
